Mission
At Horizon Primary School we believe all children are entitled to develop to their fullest potential in a happy, friendly and secure environment in an atmosphere that promotes mutual respect, caring, courtesy and concern for others. It will give the opportunity for each child to develop confidence in themselves.

In order to achieve this Horizon Bonendale:

a) is committed to establishing a supportive and safe environment for its pupils, its staff and the wider school community; this is the foundation of the trusting relationships formed between pupils and adults, which is a particular feature of Horizon life.

b) has a competitive school culture in which pupils are encouraged to pursue excellence in all its differing forms, to develop their strengths and to seek out new challenges. This often helps to drive personal and collective achievement, with the process being valued as much as the outcome.
